I had the most incredible stay at Peanuts House Kumakuma. The owner, Mama san, was the absolute sweetest and went above and beyond to make sure I had an unforgettable experience. She gave me amazing recommendations for restaurants and activities, and even helped arrange discounted lift passes. The rooms were spacious and cozy, with heated beds and a mini onsen in the shower. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and the views of the town and mountains were breathtaking. Despite the traditional sleeping arrangements, I found the futons to be surprisingly comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main strip and ski resort. I can't recommend this place enough. It truly made my trip to Nozawaonsen unforgettable.

We had a fantastic stay at Peanuts House. Kimie and Takame were incredible hosts, making us feel welcome and ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. The Japanese breakfasts were exceptional, with a different delicious spread each morning. The location of the accommodation is perfect - quiet but close to the village center. We could easily walk or take the free shuttle to the ski hill. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-presented. And we absolutely loved having our own onsen, a truly amazing experience. We cannot wait to stay at Peanuts House again.
